DNA Relationship Testing
DNA relationship testing is done to establish whether there are biological relationships between alleged relatives. This type of testing is often used when the alleged parents of child are not available to participate in a paternity test. In such situations, it is possible to confirm the relationship by testing a relative of the alleged parent such as a sibling, grandparents and aunt/uncle. Relationship testing can also be used to confirm or exclude a biological relationship between siblings in a DNA siblings test.
easyDNA Philippines offers relationship testing priced from only PHP18,500. There are various types of tests and testing methodologies that can be carried out, depending on the who is available for testing. The tests are given below.

Siblings DNA testing Order Here
Sibling DNA testing is normally recommended when two individuals, who are allegedly siblings, want to confirm their relationship to each other. Siblings can be either half-siblings and share one common parent, or full-siblings and share both biological parents. The test will indicate the probability (expressed as a percentage) of there being a strong enough genetic relationship between the siblings or else show that they are not related. A DNA siblings test can be performed without the common parent; however, we always recommended including the common parent (usually the mother) where available to strengthen the results.
Standard sibling testing is performed using STR analysis when the siblings are male and female. Visit the following page for more information STR testing.
The follow are some other examples of types of tests you may require depending on the sex and alleged relationship of the siblings:
- In instances where the siblings to be tested are males, then a Y-chromosome test is recommended. This test will confirm whether the siblings share the same father by establishing whether they share the same male lineage. Visit the Y-chromosome testing page for more information on this test.
- If the siblings to be tested are female, and have different mothers, an X-chromosome test can be used to confirm if they share the same biological father. Visit our X-chromosome testing page for more information on this test.
- In cases in which siblings wish to determine whether they share the same mother, an mtDNA test can be done. This test is performed by siblings of either sex and will confirm whether they share a common maternal lineage. Visit our mtDNA testing page for more information on this test.
Siblingship testing starts from as little as PHP18,500 and the price includes our DNA testing kit. Results can be sent in as little as 10 or less working days from the receipt of samples at the laboratory depending on the type of test you chose.
